As for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pick; Larry Johnson, Steven Jackson, and Frank Gore seem to be front runners for these spots. This year has been a slow start for all 4 of these running backs. LT seems to not have the same swagger as he did last year as he ran all over defenses, also by receiving and throwing touchdowns. Steven Jackson has been injured for the majority of the year, but when he is healthy he is tearing up other defenses. Larry Johnson has not got his motor running yet this season due to a late start for him by opting out of training camp. Frank Gore started the year off on the same foot as he finished in the first two weeks this year, but has been in a slump lately. Not one of these running backs are leading in the top five for running backs. I believe that these running backs are just on a slight slump and mark my word that before the year is over they will all be on track to putting up similar numbers as last year, probably excluding LT surpassing his old record. I could never find out how to play against a bigger player. He would always just put his hands up and my shot flies into his arms, and he wouldn’t even have to jump to rebound against me.
