Customer Review: difficult to fill pipe and insert into sleeve
A lot of parts, but instructions are excellent. Filling pipe with cement fully assembled was extremely difficult - maybe my mix wasn’t thin enough - had to use copper pipe to force cement down. Be prepared with helper and have patience. Putting pipe in took four guys and if you don’t get pipe in EXACTLY straight, edge will catch on plastic insert and it will not go in (and will dig into plastic sleeve). I have installed a fixed pipe board before with larger diamter and if I had it to do over, I would buy that one - it was A LOT easier to fill and mount and given the weight of the filled pipe, I won’t ever remove this one from the ground :-)!

I did much research, and decided on this in-ground hoop combo. I liked the width of the backboard for the price. I have 3 young sons, and bought this for them to grow up with. We have already had 300$ of enjoyment out of the hoop in the two weeks I have had it up. It did take 3 days before we could play on it (1 day for base, 1 day for pole, 1 day for both to dry). No regrets a great purchase!!!

Product was delivered in four boxes in good condition. I was impressed with the quality of manufacture and heaviness of the backboard and pole even before installation. Installation can be tricky - very important to get the bolt plate straight, level and parallel with playing surface. This can be difficult to accomplish with quick set concrete but spend the time at this stage as the rest of the installtion is very dependent on it. Once the concrete was dry, setting up the pole, frame and backboard were pretty easy, but you will need a helper. The instruction were pretty good. Have used the backboard for a couple of days and am impressed with the solid feel off the glass (acrylic) and the rim. This was the prime reason I chose this product and have not been disappointed. Overall, I would say this was a good value.

My daughter plays Div. I basketball. I needed a good quality basket for her to practice on during the summer. This one works well. Her only complaint is that the bounce off the rim is not very forgiving. Personally, I think that makes her concentrate more on the accuracy of her shot.

This is a great quality basketball system for the money. The acrylic backboard is thick and solid and so is the pole. It is a 3 piece pole system which initially concerned me but the instuctions are to fill the pole with concrete and once this is done the pole is as solid as a rock. You will absolutely need 2 people and a 2 days to assemble this.
