I bought this hoop about 2 years ago. It’s mounted on the front of garage at the moment and still looks like new.
The quality of the backboard and the rim are top notch. The “breakaway” feature of the rim is especially nice if you plan to lower it and have alot of people dunking on it. I of course don’t have this problem b/c I can barely touch the rim :)
This is a good backboard/rim combo for the buck.
If you are looking for a professional backboard and rim, this is not for you, but it is a solid, lightweight combo that mounted easily. I put it onto an existing pole and mount and after shopping around for some time, I am glad I made this choice.
